Watch this space; just took some photos of me in mustards with and without webbing. Tom has my M41, or that would be in too.

DISCLAIMER: I am hitting the gym solid as of tomorrow night.

Here we go...

EDIT: The pics were taken by camera phone, hence the shit quality. For some reason, it seems to have flipped the image, so it looks like my DI is on my right shoulder, but trust me, it's on the left.

Looks great Kavster :)

Is that a Marushin M1 or an M14 conversion?

That, old chum, is my beautiful gas M1 by Marushin. I love it so much I want to father lots of little M1 Carbines with it.

Nice pictures Kavster!

If you black-out the background on that first photo I bet it will look really dramatic!
It looks like your GI kit is nearing completion. 8)

Thanks, Flib. My roughouts are on back order, and like I said, Tom has my M41, so I'm just about there. Next purchase is a set of HBTs for spares (watch this space warren...) and doughboy/shovel.

The badge on my garrison cap is the 116th IR emblem, from Saunders (thanks again, Flib).

What's this about an MR-C - someone's a fan of GRAW, no?

I have GRAW gear with a SCARL, Heather would like some too, and I am making an MR-C for her.

Cool. I just bought a full MARPAT set, with a molle coyote brown plate carrier - was thinking of doing a version of GRAW kit for open days (to save my beautiful and horrendously expensive mustards).

But thats for another day on another forum! I prefer the M41 Jacket Rhys, but I would go with whatever you feel comfortable in :)

The stitch-counter's mantra. Spare a thought for our chum in Hawaii, if you think we have it bad!

oh im not a stich counter heh. their french semi modern hbts that look similar and the 41 jackets a modern repro supposedly for saving private ryan. its not that i think the hbts look less right just that i think the 41 jacket with the hbts look more stylish

Don't worry mate, I wasn't ragging on you. If anything, I'm shockingly anal about my kit - it's all repro by the way, so I don't even have an excuse!

HBTs are great, also easy to clean in comparison to wool M1936 trousers
